No War No Warming - Training July 2023

Warm invitation to an Erasmus+ Training in July on Peace and War and Global Warming for Youth Workers by Nina Koevoets and me.

In the week-long training, we’ll address how to increase our capacity to respond to challenging situations by developing skills for inner-peace, learning methods of inter-personal conflict management and peacebuilding, and nonviolent methodologies for social change - so youth workers can support young people to be active citizens who stand against the intersectionality of war and climate change, and for the importance to work on peace.

The objectives of our training are:

  1. Letting youth workers develop skills to work on peace on the personal level, to enable them to respond to the youth in a peaceful manner;

  2. Letting youth workers develop skills to work on peace on the inter-personal level, to enable them to de-escalate and solve conflicts in their youth groups and support peaceful group dynamics;

  3. Letting youth workers develop skills to work on peace on the social level, to enable them to implement nonviolent awareness raising actions regarding the interrelationship of war and climate change, and assist youth in becoming active citizens;

  4. Enhancing the peaceful cooperation between European organisations, exchanging experiences and practices, so they can form a pacifist voice together for our future.

We co-operate with these partner organisations:

PEACE ACTION, TRAINING & RESEARCH INST OF ROMANIA – Romania
