Love And Rage

Love and Rage. (or: a call for sisterhood)

Love and rage

For all the things that have happened to us.

For all that we've suffered at the hands of a few.

For all that is still happening to us, centuries after centuries

because the ones in power still fear the strength of the many.

Still fear our united forces, our collective strength and determination if only we rise up together and stand strong.

Still feel the need to oppress us, suppress our life fores and hold us down.

Cannot deal with our free-flowing, joy-bringing, juicy, sexy, incredibly energetic, strong and powerful female love and life energy.

Cannot accept or allow anything that's vibrant, cheerful, colourful, untamed, wild, roaring with passion and liveliness.

Cannot allow it and so they do anything they can to bury it, cut it off us in the most violent ways, destroy it while trying to break and destroy us in the process.

But.

Sisters.

We're still standing.

We're still many.

Once we unite in unconditional solidarity and sisterhood, we are still the relentlessly strong unstoppable force of life.

And they know.

And they fear.

And they try to divide us, break us apart, tear open the bonds of sisterhood.

So – to be strong, to be rebellious, to be radical means to stand in total solidarity with each other.

Fiercly loving sisterhood as the most radical, rebellious act.

Love and rage, sisters. Love and rage.
